You own what you record. You are also solely responsible for it.
Podvidi provides a studio, software and hosting. We do not create, commission, review or endorse what you record, and we are not responsible or liable for it — including for anything it infringes, anyone it harms, or any claim brought over it. That responsibility is yours and it does not transfer to us by our storing or transmitting the file.
You must not use Podvidi to record, store, publish or transmit content that:
1. endangers or exploits a minor in any way;
2. promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or hatred of people for who they are;
3. violates another person's privacy or data-protection rights, or impersonates someone;
4. infringes copyright, trademark or any other intellectual property right;
5. is sexually explicit, or depicts a non-consensual or deepfaked sexual act;
6. encourages self-harm, suicide, or serious physical or mental harm;
7. is fraudulent, deceptive, or deliberately misleading;
8. attacks the platform itself, or manufactures fake engagement;
9. breaks any law that applies to you, to us, or to the people you record.
Recording other people. Everyone appearing in a recording must know they are being recorded and agree to it, and to how you intend to publish it. Where the law requires their explicit consent, getting it is your responsibility, before you record. If someone appearing in your recording withdraws consent, act on it.
Enforcement. We may remove content and suspend or terminate an account when we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, and we may do so without notice where the content is unlawful or someone is at risk. We decide whether content breaks this policy. If we remove something, the rest of your archive stays available to you to play and download.
